About Us

Fiona runs a very successful speech and Drama school which she established in 2003.

Having been involved in Speech and Drama all her life, Fiona competed in feiseanna from the age of 3. Over the years Fiona won numerous cups, trophies and medals and was awarded distinctions and medals in Irish Board of Speech & Drama exams.

After qualifying as a Primary School Teacher from St Patrick’s College, Dublin, Fiona went on to achieve both Associate and Licentiate qualifications with the Irish Board of Speech & Drama.

Fiona then studied Management in Education in T.C.D. and later achieved a post graduate diploma in Special Educational Needs from St Angela’s College, Sligo.

Fiona is also a member of the Speech and Drama teachers of Ireland and is an experienced examiner with The Irish Board of Speech And Drama.

“Speech and drama contributes to children’s confidence, language development and expressive ability and it always our aim to encourage confidence and nurture talent.”

In 2014 Fiona established a casting agency and many students have featured on RTE and in adverts.

In 2022 Draiocht a new Irish Language Drama class was launched to help students to enjoy and learn the Irish Language in a relaxed, fun and encouraging environment.
