Congratulations to all our students who participated in Ballina Feis Recently Well Done on fantastic Performances!!
“Fiona Bourke School of Speech & Drama Perpetual Cup”.
Delighted to be present this Beautiful Cup To Ballina Feis. The cup will be presented for the Yeats Post Primary Poetry Competition- this being the 150th Anniversary of the birth of W.B.Yeats.
Hoping that this Competition will encourage a love of Yeats Poetry.
Ballina Feis has always held fond memories for me. I hope the cup will bring as much joy to it’s future winners as the cups I won in the past brought to me.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank my own parents for all their encouragement and support in speech and drama and feiseanna over the years.

Our students gained valuable experience with acting for camera, an essential skill for future auditions.
Thank you to Actor Donal Courtney for a wonderful course. Donal has directed more than 20 plays and written three plays. Donal is highly regarded within the acting community having taught and mentored the Oscar nominated actor Michael Fassbender when he was a teenager in Killarney.
